This laboratory allows the study of sensorimotor integration mechanisms in healthy people or with a neurological or musculoskeletal problem. It is equipped with a linear motor with servo to stimulate the back muscles during isometric contractions, and force gauges to characterize the force of application of mechanical stimulations. This laboratory is designed to study the treatment of proprioceptive afferents of the back muscles, the sensorimotor control of the back muscles as well as sensorimotor control in standing posture.
