Trained as an audiologist, her research interests include auditory and visual perceptual skills, as well as speech production in a hearing-impaired population, including cochlear implant wearers. She also aims to improve the quality and accessibility of audiological services in developing countries and remote regions by examining the contribution of available technological tools to counter the lack of resources.
