The Readaptronics approach is defined as the interdisciplinary and iterative development, integration, and evaluation of technological solutions for rehabilitation. There are two main complementary axes to this approach, namely monitoring technology (e.g., the development of portable captors or data treatment software) and assistive technology (e.g., robotic aides for lower and upper limbs.)

This platform offers the following services:

  • Development of micro controlled electronic systems (captors, captors with feedback, real-time analysis, real-time algorithms);
  • Integrating captors and feedback to virtual reality systems;
  • Smart algorithms;
  • Signal-processing and data fusion algorithm;
  • Data analysis software (movements, activity counts, walking, 3D orientation, EMG, etc.);
  • IMU or articulatory data collection software and data treatment;
  • Mechanical design;
  • Robotic design;
  • Calibration and validation of captors;
  • Advice for the choice of captor positioning;
  • Standardizing the organization of data collection to simplify and promote sharing;
  • Coordination with other Cirris technological platforms (Immersive Technology Platform and Movement Analysis and Collection Platform).
