Neurophysiologist, his research focuses on control and motor learning. His projects mainly involve interdisciplinary teams combining health sciences and engineering. His interests include understanding the control mechanisms involved in walking, the measurement of EMG and movement out of the laboratory setting, the improvement of clinical tests with the help of portable captors, the characterization of muscular fatigue during complex movements as well as the use of exoskeletons and software in rehabilitation.
